In late 2003, band leader, Takayo announced her departure from ZONE to finish school and pursue another career. Tomoka took her place shortly before the album "N" was released. They later put out 3 new singles; "Taiyou no Kiss", "Kaze no Tobira ~ Glory Colors" and "Egao Biyori"; before they disbanded after the "ZONE Final Concert at Budokan" on April 1st, 2005.

Glory Colors - Kaze no Tobira (風のトビラ ~ Glory Colors)
"The Wind's Door"

Brief Comments:
"Kaze no Tobira" or "Wind's Door"; ZONE's second single of 2004 with new member Tomoka.

This is my personal favorite of all ZONE songs. The lyrics are especially captivating as well as the mix of upbeat tones combined with a sense of wistfulness. Of course, the melody and instruments are great as well!

The PV for this song is also my favorite of ZONE's rivaled only by Koigoi.

Lyrics:
azayaka na iro ni kawariyuku kimi no omoide no naka
as your memories of me continue to transform into vivid colors

kirakira to kagayakizutsuketeyuku wasurenai kyou no koto
I won't forget the continuing sparkles of today's events

taisetsuna takaramono da yo
they are an important treasure

aitai omoudakede namida ga afureta
just the thought of wanting to meet you makes my tears overflow

kanashikunai noni aru namida hajimete shitta yo
for the first I cried tears that weren't of sadness

ashita no koto wa daremo wakaranai keredo
although nobody understands the happenings of tomorrow

sukoshizutsu demo ii kara yume oitsuzuketeite hoshii yo
it's ok even if just a little by little, to chase after dreams

koukaishitakunai kara sousa kimi no sasae ni naritai
It's because I don't want to have any regret that I want to support you

donna tooku hanareteitemo kimi wo mitsukerareru yo
no matter what kind of distance seperates us, you can be found

yume oikakeru sono hitomi no naka hikaru kaze ga fuku kara
because of that shiny wind in your eyes from pursuing your dream

kaze wa ashita ni mukau kara
the wind blows towards tomorrow

sasaina koto de Itsumo fuan kanjiteta
the trivial happenings always felt uneasy

naritai jibun nan toori mo egaite wa hiza wo kakaeta
everytime I sketched out who I wanted to be, I would end up hugging my knees

doushite kujiketemo nee, kawarazu arukitsuzukerareru no?
why must we continue to walk unchanging when we falter?

mishiranu tobira no mukou tsukameru kagayaki ga aru
beyond the unfamiliar door, there is a radiance to catch hold of

kimi ni deatte wakatta uruwashi namida mitai ni
I know by chance I will meet you, I want to see such beautiful tears

aozora wa ikutsu mo aru kara
because the beautiful skies are many

azayaka na iro ni kawariyuku kimi no omoide no naka
as your memories of me continue to transform into vivid colors

kirakira to kagayakitsuzuketeyuku wasurenai kyou no koto
I won't forget the continuing sparkles of today's events

donna tooku hanareteitemo kimi wo mitsukerareru yo
no matter what kind of distance seperates us, you can be found

yume oikakeru sono hitomi no naka hikaru kaze ga fuku kara
because of that shiny wind in your eyes from pursuing your dream

kaze wa ashita ni mukau kara
the wind blows towards tomorrow
