Although her first single "Momo no Hanabira" (桃ノ花ビラ) was released in September of 2003, it wasn't until her 2nd single Sakuranbo (さくらんぼ) that she became a sensation. As of 2006, she has released a total of 3 albums as well as numerous singles. She also starred in in the drama "Tokyo Friends."
At the moment of this writing, she is one of my favorite artists; mainly due to a unique combination of her lyrics, song composition, and personality. My personal favorites among her compositions are Haneari Tamago (羽ありたまご), Amaenbo (甘えんぼ) and Friends (フレンズ).

Translation Notes:
"Russian Roulette" is often used to say that something is random in occurrence. Hence, the handmade riceball lunch contents are always random.
"fight" is a term used in Japanese as sort of the equivalent of "do your best". It's a positive term overall; different from its usually negative connotation in english.
