Although her first single "Momo no Hanabira" (桃ノ花ビラ) was released in September of 2003, it wasn't until her 2nd single Sakuranbo (さくらんぼ) that she became a sensation. As of 2006, she has released a total of 3 albums as well as numerous singles. She also starred in in the drama "Tokyo Friends."
At the moment of this writing, she is one of my favorite artists; mainly due to a unique combination of her lyrics, song composition, and personality. My personal favorites among her compositions are Haneari Tamago (羽ありたまご), Amaenbo (甘えんぼ) and Friends (フレンズ).
Kimi ni kaeru (キミにカエル。)
"return to you"
Brief Comments:
This is the B-side track to Otsuka Ai's single: CHU-LIP. It's a softer song and more ballad-ish than the A-side.

Lyrics:
English:
awakening from sleep, there's an image that comes into focus
our eyes have the same pattern to them
the scent of a newborn bud
the end, the beginning, I'll return to you once again
like the amassed snow, these suppressed feelings
will be dissolved by the warm rays of the sunlight in time
I can say "you'll do fine now"
for even a lost kiss will one day return to you
the warmth fades and my toes grow cold
the two of us, our skin holds the same pattern
opening new eyes
another season will return to you
as the last snow scatters and falls, waving goodbye
shining as if saying "It's alright now"
I can say "you'll do fine now"
for even a lost kiss will one day return to you
like the amassed snow, these suppressed feelings
will be dissolved by the warm rays of the sunlight in time
I can say "you'll do fine now"
for even a lost kiss will one day return to you
assuring your heart
holding out a single flower petal, it has returned to you
