Credits and Inspiration

Design, layout, content, code of this site was all put together by myself (unless otherwise noted). I don't do a lot of actual graphics creation; just manipulation. A lot of the original images that anime pictures are based on are copyright their respective owners. There are a few borrowed pictures/images scattered throughout my site and they should all be credited with their respective owners on that particular page. If that isn't the case, please let me know and I will remedy the situation through correction or removal.

Please feel free to download pictures to your own computer for personal use but if you are going to use them on another site or for commercial use please ask for permission first. I would love for people to be able to enjoy my pictures. All the same though, I want to retain some control over my stuff.

HTML and PHP coding has been accomplished via the use of a text editor. Graphics editing and creation has been performed with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

To plug a few books that I've used in the creation of this site :
Professional PHP Programming; Wrox Press Ltd.; Castagnetto, Rawat, Schumann, Scollo, Veliath
DHTML and CSS for the World Wide Web; Peachpit Press; Jason Cranford Teague
Beginning Databases with MySQL; Wrox Press Ltd; Neil Matthew and Richard Stones

I've also used countless Web resources to guide me in various dynamic HTML tag attributes and PHP composition (of which it would be impossible to name them all).

Inspirational Sites :

Creative - A board I frequent to look at artwork other people have done in order to learn new techniques and develop ideas.

digital flare - This is a discussion board at which I looked through tons of different blog layouts and adapted the good points of what I saw to my own.

shinjite.net (formerly rydia.nu) - I thought her design and layout were super nice and innovative for a personal website and so I borrowed some of the concepts she used and adapted them to my site. It just seemed to make things more homelier. I didn't borrow anything verbatim though; just some of the ideas.
